Getting started

• Import books — tap the + button in your Library and pick any PDF or EPUB.
• Liquid Mode — open a PDF and tap the text icon in the bottom bar to switch between the original pages and flowing, adjustable text.
• Themes & text size — tap “Aa” while reading; pinch to zoom works too.
• Listening — tap the headphones icon to have any book read aloud (one-time unlock).
• Bookmarks & highlights — tap the bookmark icon, or press and hold a paragraph in Liquid Mode.

Common questions

A scanned PDF won't switch to Liquid Mode. Scanned PDFs are images without a text layer, so there is no text to reflow yet. The original pages still work normally.

The read-aloud voice sounds robotic. Download a higher-quality voice in iOS Settings → Accessibility → Spoken Content → Voices — NiceReader automatically uses the best voice installed for your book's language.

Restore my Listening purchase. Settings (gear icon in the Library) → Restore Purchases, signed in with the same Apple ID.
