Privacy Policy
NiceReader · Effective July 13, 2026
The short version: NiceReader collects no data. None.
What happens on your device, stays on your device
NiceReader is a book and document reader that works entirely on your iPhone. The books and PDFs you import, your reading positions, bookmarks, highlights, and settings are stored only on your device. They are never uploaded, synced, or transmitted anywhere.
No accounts, no analytics, no tracking
- NiceReader has no sign-up and no user accounts.
- We use no analytics or crash-reporting services.
- We show no ads and use no third-party SDKs that collect data.
- The app makes no network requests to our servers — we don't have any.
Read-aloud (Listening)
The optional Listening feature uses Apple's on-device speech synthesis. Your book text is processed locally and never leaves your phone.
Purchases
The Listening unlock is a one-time purchase processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. Apple's handling of purchase data is described in Apple's Privacy Policy.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date. Since the app collects nothing, we do not expect it to change in substance.
