Privacy Policy

ReadComfy is designed to collect as little as possible. We do not operate user accounts, sell personal data, show ads, or track you across apps or websites.
1. Who we are
ReadComfy is provided by Jan Macura, a self-employed natural person (OSVČ) under Czech law, IČO 29561825, Spojná 617/1, Bludovice, 736 01 Havířov, Czech Republic. Jan Macura is the data controller for personal data processed through ReadComfy. Contact: janmacura01@gmail.com.
2. Data we process
Your imported content and reading data stay on your device and are not sent to us. They may be included in an Apple-managed backup if you enable one.
Apple and RevenueCat process a random pseudonymous identifier and purchase and entitlement information to provide and restore the Listening purchase. We do not receive your payment-card or bank details.
If you select an answer to “How did you find ReadComfy?” and continue, it only increments a Cloudflare aggregate counter. No account, advertising ID, or RevenueCat identifier is included, and no individual response is stored.
If you contact us, we process the message and contact details you provide. Our website host and third-party content sources receive ordinary network request data, such as an IP address, when you use those services.
3. Why we process it
Purchase data is processed to perform the purchase contract and for our legitimate interests in reliable payment handling and fraud prevention. The optional onboarding answer is used only for aggregate statistics. Website security logs are processed for our legitimate interest in operating a secure site, and support data is processed to answer your request.
4. Service providers and transfers
We use Apple, RevenueCat, Cloudflare, and our website host. We do not sell or rent personal data and do not use it for advertising or cross-app tracking. Providers may process data outside the EEA using recognized safeguards such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses. See the RevenueCat DPA and Cloudflare DPA.
5. Retention
On-device data remains until you delete it or the app. Purchase records are kept as needed to provide and restore the purchase and meet legal obligations. Support messages are generally kept for up to 24 months. Aggregate counters may be kept indefinitely.
6. Your rights
Where the GDPR applies, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing, and you may withdraw consent. Email janmacura01@gmail.com. We normally respond within one month.
If the GDPR applies, you may complain to your local supervisory authority or to the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (ÚOOÚ): uoou.gov.cz.
7. Children and automated decisions
ReadComfy is a general-audience app. Where parental consent is required by law, a parent or guardian should authorize use of optional online features and purchases. We do not use personal data for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects.
8. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when the app or law changes. We will post the new version here with an updated effective date and provide additional notice where required.
